Missing any USD/crypto pairs

Feature Request

I believe that lack of option buying any crypto with USD is really very inconvenient for those Canadians who keep their savings in USD. And I think a lot of Canadians do it. The problem here is that if I’d like to deposit more money into my NDAX account I need to convert USD to CAD in order to buy any crypto, but if it happened so that I converted CAD to USD in my bank account at the time when the rate USD/CAD was higher than now, then I can lose quite a lot of money converting back from USD to CAD, especially if it is a large amount. Therefore it really can prevent increasing a trading volume (at least significant volume) for many of us.

I heard from the customer support that your team is working on implementing the pairs USD/crypto for easier trading, but currently there is no any timeline set for that work.

So, please add this option as soon as possible.I believe that lack of option buying any crypto with USD is really very inconvenient for those Canadians who keep their savings in USD. And I think there are a lot of such Canadians. The problem here is that if I’d like to deposit more money into my account

    I fully agree with this request. I run an online business and receive payments in US dollars. It would be a lot easier for me to deposit US dollars into my Ndax account and buy cryptocurrency directly, rather than having to change it into Canadian dollars first.

    Yes - This has been a discussion in the past for some users who have USD fiat and would like to trade in USD. It could be something we can consider depending on how many users would want USD pairs of all assets on Ndax.

    How do you feel about USDC pairs or would you want it to be USD and be able to withdraw USD fiat to your bank account? Something we can definitely hav a conversation about with the team to see if it is something we can do with regards to USD fiat.

      I'd prefer to have USD pairs along with CAD pairs. Meaning that there should be a setting allowing to set the default currency as CAD or USD, as it is done in some other crypto exchange companies. This will allow to have flexible depositing in both CAD and USD, and trading directly with both fiat currences without converting between them and loosing a lot of money during such exchanges.

      BTW, I believe many traders don't know about possibilty to send the feature requests to this forum and vote here for other trader's requests. For example, I didn't know about it untill now. I've seen many comments/questions, similar to mine, from other Canadians on some other public forums like Reddit.

      I learned that there are even two types of Canadians struggling from missing USD pairs. First group, like me, just keeping the USD on their bank accounts as a result of regular converting CAD to USD. And another group is working remotely for US companies and getting their income in USD.

      At this point I personally don't need the option for withdrawal USD back to my bank account.
